Originally From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Alexandra Fische began painting at the age of 12. During her youth she was always found with her nose in a coloring book and excelled as an art student later down the road. Many classes and filled sketchbooks later, it was pretty apparent the direction her education was headed. Art was something that came as naturally as eating or sleeping. After four years of formal training as a visual arts major, she graduated the Creative and Performing Arts HS in 2007. She then proceeded to the Community College of Philadelphia on full scholarship as a double major in fine arts & psychology. Around this time, she began to go under the needle for some of her first tattoos, and shortly after became an H2Ocean model. Through this, she received her first taste of tattoo conventions.
On Halloween 2008, Alexandra met up with Xu Long Qi – better known as “Little Dragon” – performing at Paul Booth’s Last Rites in New York. Shortly thereafter, with Dragon as her mentor, she began her disciplined studies & formal art fusion training. After having studied art with much dedication, she privately apprenticed under Dragon in New York City, and remained creating with him until his resignment from Last Rites and return home to Beijing.
Alexandra is now focusing primarily on new school/neotraditonal, color realism, & ornamental design work tattooing although still dabbles extensively in illustrative & portraiture black &grey.
